Corley 5 Mar 1943 - The many friends of J. C. Corley, age 73, of Noble were sorry to hear of his sudden death Thursday morning. He was stricken with paralysis about 3:30 Thursday morning and lived only a short time. He was a member of the Carson Baptist Church of Zwolle, where he served faithfully for about 18 years and was well like by everyone who knew him. Funeral services were held Friday at three o'clock at Mt. Carmel. Rev. Joe Flanagan of Zwolle and Rev. Baggett of Noble officiated, interment Mt. Carmel cemetery, Drewitt funeral home in charge. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Annie Corley of Noble; six sisters, Mrs. Steve Debose, Mrs. Frank Leatherwood, Mrs. Tedford Lynn, Mrs. Jack Sharp, Mrs. Dave Loften and Mrs. George Davis; two daughters, Mrs. E. A. Almon and Mrs. B.C. Isgitt; one son, Dan Corley; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
