Corley, 65, of Florien, died at his home on Friday, Jan. 30, at 4 a.m., after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m., in the Toro Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roy Dowden, and the Rev. E. C. Browning officiating. Interment was in the Toro Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Poore Corley of Florien; three sons, Tommy Corley, Johnny Corley, and Alan Corley, all of Florien; one daughter, Mrs. Mary ?. Lee of Provencal; one brother, Otto Corley of Florien; four sisters, Mrs. Christine Jordan, Mrs. Iva Lee Pilcher, and Mrs. Eva Chance, all of Florien, and Mrs. Pauline Kennedy of Shreveport; and 10 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Wingate Dowden, Jack Corley, Gwen Corley, Jack Pilcher, Wilton Corley, George Corley, Lloyd Dean, and Scott Corley.
