Ellis Quinton (Peanut) Carroll

  Funeral services for Mr. Ellis Quinton "Peanut" Carroll, were
held Sat., Oct. 13, at 3 p.m., at Antioch Baptist Church, with
Rev. John Thompson, Rev. Jimmy Evans, and Rev. Jeff Flenniken
officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery. Services were under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Carroll died Thurs., Oct. 11, 1984, at Sabine Medical
Center, at 7:50 p.m. He was 56 years old.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cleone Carroll of Florien; one
son, Darwin Q. Carroll of Florien; three daughters, Emma Jean
Hollis, Ruth Carroll, both of Wichita, Kan., and Ellen Carroll of
Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, J. D. Carroll of Center,
Tex., and Kermit Carroll of Florien; and two grandchildren,
Brian, and Brandon Hollis.
