All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mr. Cody Quinton Corley (Photo) Mr. Cody Quinton Corley, 64, of Florien, went to be with God on Nov. 10, 2000, after fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer since August of 2000. He was a Sanitarian Parish Manager at the Sabine Parish Health Unit, and affiliated with First Baptist Church of Florien. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 12, at First Baptist Church of Florien, with interment following at Antioch Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Franklin, the Rev. Ottis Branam, and the Rev. Bill Hines officiated. Survivors include his widow, Sandra Corley of Florien; daughter, Cala Jo Booker of Florien; son, Clay James Corley of Florien; daughter-in-law, Bridget Corley of Florien; brother, James K. Corley of Bossier City; and sister-in-law, Lou Corley, both of N. Richland Hills, Texas; five grandchildren, Keaton Booker, Kayden Booker, Brock Booker, Caitlyn Corley, and Cameron Corley, all of Florien; brother-in-law, Jesse James Anderson and wife Joan of Keithville; father-in-law, Josie N. Anderson of Florien; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. Pallbearers were Jimmy Leach, Glen Anderson, Sid Lucius Sr., Jimmy Brown, Joe Salter, Dale Miller, Henry Lee Davis, and Ben D. Peterson. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Salter, Donald Corley, Lawrence Brandon, Buddy Mullen, Lenin Murray, V. L. Leach Jr., Ed Corley, Michael Hyatt, Jimmy Hughes, Gary Thompson, Dr. Ivan Harless, and employees of the Sabine Parish Health Unit.
