Ella Ruth Wheat Corley (Photo)

  Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Ruth Wheat Corley, 58, were held
Sunday, April 22, at 2 p.m., in the Warren Meadows Chapel.
Interment followed at the Oakdale Cemetery in Oakdale. Rev. Jolly
B. Harper officiated.

  She is survived by her husband, John M. Corley of Many; two sons
and daughters-in-law, Lloyd L. and Sherry Wheat of Lafayette, Ted
and Ann Wheat of Shreveport; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary
and James Futch of Shreveport; one step daughter, Martha Ann
Knippers and husband Dale of Many; two brothers, Sam Smith of
Houston, Texas, and Harold Smith of Jennings; one sister, Ina Mae
Nugiba of Cameron; six grandchildren, Lisa, Jamie, Sarah, Boog,
Chris, and Andy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Pallbearers included J. K. Richard, Dick Jorgensen, Roy Payne,
Bob McClellan, Ed Edwards, Brownie Vujaklija.
