All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Sigman James Corley Funeral services for Mr. Sigman James Corley, 71, were held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, at Antioch Baptist Church, with the Reverends Bill Murphy, Logan Skiles, Jimmy Evans, and Bro. Mack Anthony officiating. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Corley died Sunday, April 21, at Sabine Medical Center in Many. He is survived by his wife, Blanche Corley of Florien; one son, Donald Sigman Corley of Florien; two daughters, Linda Corley Brown of Many, and Rose Corley Strickland and husband Mike of Florien; two sisters, Esther Goodman, and Edna Berry, both of Braxton, Miss.; two brothers, Johnnie Corley of Florien, and Huey Corley of Many; nine grandchildren, David, Rheda, and Stephen Brown, Clint, and Carroll Corley, Barry, Steven, Lee, and Kimberly Strickland; two great grandchildren, Emily, and Coleman Brown. Pallbearers include Clint Corley, Carroll Corley, David Brown, Stephen Brown, Donnie Jordan, Gerald Jordan, Barry Strickland, and Reagan Anthony. Honorary pallbearers were Steve Strickland, Lee Strickland, Joe Lee Chreene, Bobby Goodman, J. D. Salter, J. B. Salter, R. T. Miller, Leon Jordan, Ben Dubose, W. F. O'Kelly, Melvin Shaw, Quinton Corley, V. L. Leach, Victor Vaco, Max Nichols, Travis Bennett, Doyle Dewitt, Robert Weaver, and George Ramer. Honor Guard was Retired Master Sgt. Conrad Corley, Airman 1st Class James Cook, and Airman Scott Livernois.
