Dayton I. Carlisle

  Funeral services for Dayton I. Carlisle, 79, were held at 10
a.m., Friday, Feb. 9, 1996, in the chapel of Rockett-Nettles
Funeral Home. Officiating was Bro. Bennie Alford, and Bro. Billy
Stevens. Burial followed in the Zion Cemetery in Fairview-Alpha.

  Mr. Carlisle died Wednesday, Feb. 7, in the L. S. Huckabay
Hospital, after a short illness.

  Survivors include his wife, Violet Carlisle of Coushatta; two
sons, Myrle Carlisle (wife Barbara) of Hall Summit, and Dayton
Chester Carlisle (wife Ellen) of Coushatta; one daughter, Villea
Rea Kitchings of Zwolle; three brothers, Doyle Carlisle of
Haughton, H. A. Carlisle of Elm Grove, and Alvin Carlisle of
Sibley.

  He is also survived by three sisters, Dot Wilson of Mena, Ark.,
Inez Breedlove, and Ester Carlisle, both of Elm Grove; five
grandchildren, Connie Coker, Kathy Carlisle, Kimberly Carlisle,
Maxie Kitchings Jr., and Wesley Dayton Carlisle; and two great
grandchildren, Dylan Coker, and Katie Kitchings.
