O. T. Crain

  Funeral services for Mr. Oscar Truly Crain, 71, of Marthaville,
will be held at 2 p.m., today, Oct. 3, in the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joe Ratcliff, and Bro. Abury Veuleman
will officiate. Masonic graveside services will be conducted at
the Marthaville Cemetery, where he will be buried.

  Mr. Crain died Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 1, 1985, as the result of
a tractor accident on his farm near Marthaville.

  He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Linda Baxter of Many,
son-in-law, Jerry T. Baxter, Many, his mother, Mrs. Lucy Crain,
Pleasant Hill; one brother, Jessie Crain, Tucson, Ariz.; five
sisters, Noveline Byrd, Belmont, Earline Lewis, Marthaville,
Merline Schattner, Shreveport, Estelle Newton, Shreveport, and
Daisy Hamilton, Minden; and two grandchildren, Jerry Lynn Baxter,
and Lindsey Joanna Baxter, both of Many.
