Crane, 90, of Converse, a retired employee of the Kansas City Southern Lines, who had served as an agent at various stations in the area for 20 years, were held in Mansfield, Tuesday, Sept. 19. A native of Abilene, Kan., Mr. Crane died in the Allen Clinic in Converse Sunday, after a lengthy illness. His last station as an agent for the railway company was in Converse. Mr. Crane was a past master of Masonic Blue Lodge, and was active in various Masonic bodies. He was a Methodist. Survivors are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Daisy Dobkins of Clear Water, Fla.; and a son of Lawrence, Kan. Services were conducted in the Drewett Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Bingston officiating.
