Chreene Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m., in the Bethel Pentecostal Church, for Earl Riley Chreene, 57. The Rev. Billy White of Many officiated. He died Monday, Nov. 15, suddenly. Mr. Chreene is survived by his wife, Mrs. Addie Chreene of Shreveport; two sons, James, and Edward Chreene of Shreveport; three daughters, Martha Windham, Ruth Chreene, and Elizabeth Chreene, all of Shreveport; five brothers, Earlene Tyler of Houston, Texas, J. D. Chreene of Logansport, W. R. Chreene of Gibsland, Sam Chreene of Grand Cane, Lee Chreene of Doyline, and Herman Chreene of Shreveport; seven sisters, Mrs. Bell Hensley of Logansport, Mrs. E. Francis of Shreveport, Mrs. G. L. Booth of Doyline, Mrs. Willie Chreene of Logansport, Mrs. Leroy Moore of Center, Mrs. P. L. Morris of Shreveport, and Mrs. T. A. Roscoe of Shreveport. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.
