Cranford 24 Oct 1947 - Mrs. T. J. Cranford, age 80, who passed away at a Tulsa, Okla. sanitarium was laid to rest at Zwolle cemetery last Friday. Funeral rites were conducted at Zwolle cemetery last Friday. Funeral rites were conducted at Zwolle Methodist church at 10 a.m. by Rev. B. D. Watson, pastor, assisted by Rev. S. M. Mulkey, pastor, Zwolle Methodist church. Interment was under direction Massingill funeral home. Pallbearers were L. Lefkovits, Joe Parrott, Roy Sibley, J. O. Kimbrell, Jr., R. L. Gay and C. J. Davis. Surviving relatives are: daughters, Mrs. R. W. Wallace, Blackwell, Okla.; Mrs. H. Gouldy, Okemah, Okla., Mrs. Earl Witt, Evansville, Ind.; three grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother, D. W. Hooker, Zwolle, sister, Mrs. Norman Hopkins, Borger, Texas. Mrs. Cranford was the widow of the late T. J. Cranford, who served as Sheriff of Sabine parish from 1902 until 1916. She was a native of Sabine.
