The Sabine Index - September 13, 1973

  Mrs. Maude Crump

  Mrs. Maude Thigpen Crump, 80, died in a Natchitoches hospital
Wednesday night, Sept. 5.

  Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Marthaville
Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Doughty and the Rev. N. G.
Moody officiating. Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery under
the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors are one son, T. R. Crump Jr. of Jena; one daughter,
Miss Mary F. Crump of Pineville; one grandchild and one
great-grandchild; two brothers, J. M. Thigpen of Marthaville and
C. S. Thigpen of Pelican; three sisters, Miss Gertrude Thigpen,
Miss Ruth Thigpen, both of Marthaville, and Mrs. Ruby Looney of
Shreveport.
