Carmical, Sr., 83, of Many, were held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 2, at the Union Baptist Church in Belmont. Rev. J. P. King, assisted by Rev. Guy Burr, officiated. Burial was in Belmont Cemetery at Belmont. Arrangements were under the direction of Osborn Funeral Home in Shreveport. He died at 11:20 p.m., Thursday, August 19, at Pilgrim Manor North Nursing Home in Bossier City. Mr. Carmical, a native of Little Rock, Ark., and a resident of Many for over 50 years, was a retired peace officer. He was a member of Many Masonic Lodge No. 411 F and AM. And the Union Baptist Church of Belmont. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Roma Carmical of Many; daughter, Mrs. Mary Rabe of Shreveport; sons Clyde L. Carmical, Jr., of Pearland, Tex., William F. Carmical of Houston, Tex., Joe P. Carmical of Pasadena, Tex., and C. Wayne Carmical of Mobank, Tex.; brothers, Ray Carmical of Clovis, Calif., and T. T. Carmical of Fresno, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Clyde R. Carlton of Salem, Ore., Mrs. Bennie Cox, and Mrs. D. C. Eudy of El Dorado, Ark.; and Mrs. R. A. Shirley of Cabot, Ark.; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Members of Many Masonic Lodge.
