Cornish, 68, of Many, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 19, at Boone Funeral Home, Airline Chapel. Officiating was Rev. Earl T. Gentry. Mr. Cornish was a native of Potters Station, Tex., and a resident of Many. He was owner of Workover Rig, a veteran of U. S. Army-Air Corp., and worked for Pan American Production Co. He began Mallard Well service with Mr. Eugene Fuller, until 1966, when he started R. T. Cornish Well Service, where he worked until his retirement in 1973. Mr. Cornish held membership in Pine Lodge No. 642, F and AF, Kountze, Tex., 32nd degree Scottish Rite, Lake Charles, Shring Club, Habibi Temple, Lake Charles. He died Friday, Oct. 17, 1986, in Shreveport. Survivors are wife, Mrs. Janice Enez Cornish; two daughters, Mrs. Rene (JoAnn) Delhomme, Sr., of Lafayette, and Mrs. Casey (Deborah) Barrett of Whitehouse, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Charlie (Bill) Smith of Haynesville, and Mrs. C. L. (Grace) Sale of Minden; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
