All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Cleo Cornett Mrs. Cleo Le Vasser Cornett, 69, of Shreveport, died at 5 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 28, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a long illness. She was born at Campti, but lived most of her life in Shreveport. She was a retired dance teacher. Survivors include two sons, Raymond Smith of Shreveport, and Zeb C. Smith of Bollebygo, Sweden; three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Clark of Logansport, Mrs. Carrie Withers, and Mrs. Vivian Barnes, both of Pleasant Hill; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 29, at St. John Catholic Church. Burial was in Forest Park, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Roger Bryant, Truman Burr, Woodrow White, Michael White, Richard Clark, Robert M. Johnson, and Fulton Clark.
