The Sabine Index - September 6, 1973

  Lige Carnline

  Lige Carnline of Leesville, 67, died on Saturday, Sept. 1, at
11:20 p.m. after an extended illness, in Pineville, La.

  Mr. Carnline is survived by his wife, Mrs. Melba Carline; 2
sons, Rev. Albert Carnline of Robeline; Joseph Earl Carnline of
Leesville; 2 daughters, Mrs. Eloise Green, Boyfield, Colo.;
Delores Carnline, Leesville; 3 sisters, Mrs. Rosie Shoemaker,
Mrs. Lizzie Shoemaker, and Mrs. Polly Freeman, all of Robeline; 2
brothers Johnny Carnline and Elias Daniels of Robeline, and six
grandchildren.

  Services were held Monday, Sept. 3 at 4 p.m. at the Pine Grove
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Barney Cooley officiating. Burial
was at the Pine Grove Cemetery with Warren Meadow Funeral Home
directing.
