Officiating were Revs. Daniel Lowe, Lowell Bell, and Winston Lowe. Interment was at Ft. Jesup Cemetery. Mr. Carnline passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Sabine Medical Center in Many. He was a lifelong member of Many Church of the Nazarene. He retired from Many Nehi Bottling Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Hattie Carnline; and baby sister, Hattie Lee. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Olivia Stewart Carnline of Many; one daughter, Olivia Carnline, also of Many; three sons, Jimmy Reese Carnline Sr. and wife Betty, Benny Fraser Carnline, both of Many, and Danny Stewart Carnline and wife Cathy of Bethany, Okla.; one brother, Johnny Carnline of Robeline; seven grandchildren, Jimmy Reese Carnline Jr. and wife Pattie of Many, Susan Carnline Hay and husband Pascel of Shreveport, Randy D. Weeks and wife Corrie of Denver, Colo., Tonya Carnline of Shreveport, Christi Carnline, John Carnline, and Victoria Carnline, all of Okla.; six great grandchildren, Jermey Carnline, Jason Carnline, Elizabeth Carnline, and Abby Carnline, all of Many, Courtney Weeks of Denver, Colo., Ethan Hay of Shreveport; special double first cousin, (just like his sister), ? Maggie Kniepp of Shreveport. Pallbearers were Pascel Hay, Phillip Lambert, Odis Faust, Scottie Carnline, Jimmy Reese Carnline Jr., George Carnline, Jerry Larpenter, and Norman Stewart. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Cooper, Norman Knippers, Rev. Ray Atwood, Elbert Tarpley, Earl Ailstock, and George Collect. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Many Church of the Nazarene, or American Cancer Society.
