Carnline, 73, of Many, died in a Shreveport hospital on Friday, Nov. 25, at 7 a.m., following a short illness. Born and raised in Sabine Parish, Carnline was employed with Hodges Gardens as a maintenance man and gardener, before his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and an active member of the Many United Pentecostal Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed fox and deer hunting. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Elnora Carnline of Many; two sons, Clinton Carnline of Many, and Bruce Carnline of Longview, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Gwen Cook, and Mrs. Martiel Sculthorpe, both of Many; and ten grandchildren.
