Mr. Volney Lee Cryer

  Mr. Volney Lee Cryer, 69, of Many died Friday, April 10, 1998 at
Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 13 at Pendleton
Assembly of God Church in Many with interment following at Pendleton
Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel Davis officiated and the Rev. Carey Bass
assisted.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Annie Mae Cryer of Many; three
daughters, Beverly Randolph and husband, Rodney, Karen Hippler and
husband, Dale and Rhonda Bostian and husband, Randy, all of Many;
four sons, James R. Cryer and wife, Jackie of Ft Jessup, Derrell
Cryer and wife, Christy of Magnolia, Texas, Victor Cryer and wife,
Margaret of Cameron, and Roger Cryer of Winnfield; four sisters,
Venecer Bass, Mavis Bass and Leoda Hippler, all of Many and Elaine
Flanagan of Tulsa, Okla; one brother, R. B. Cryer and wife, Betty of
Many; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
