James Dewitt Dew, Sr.

  Funeral services for Mr. James Dewitt Dew Sr., 80, were held at
11 a.m., Thursday, June 14, at Zwolle Church of Christ. Interment
followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. James Tidwell, and Rev. Houston
Tibbitts officiated.

  Mr. Dew died Tuesday, June 12, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home #2
in Many.

  He is survived by one son, James Dew Jr. of Shreveport; eight
daughters, Barbara Pantalion of Zwolle, Rosalie Dew of
Shreveport, Martha Allen of Shreveport, Mary Eastman of Brouce,
Mississippi, Glenda Johnson of Shreveport, Kay Cole of
Shreveport, Jean Quinley of Shreveport, and Sheila Maxwell of
Shreveport; two brothers, Willie Dew of Zwolle, and Roy Dew of
Many; eighteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a
host of nieces and nephews.
