Thomas Jefferson Dew

  Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson Dew, age 77, who died at
his home at Toro Friday, May 9, was conducted at Mt. Zion Baptist
Church at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 10, with Rev. Wilton Anthony
officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the
direction of the Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Minnie W. Dew of Toro; two
daughters, Mrs. Exie Mae McNeese of Rayne, Mrs. Catherine
Chambers, Ruston; four sons, Thomas L. of Hornbeck, Fred of Toro,
Marion of Rayne, Talmadge of Rosepine; two sisters, Mrs. Jean
Ramsey of Mansfield, Mrs. Willie DeLatin of Many; 12
grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
