Dove Services for Mrs. Dove, 94, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 25, at Fellowship Methodist Church, Hineston, where she was a member for many years, under the direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of Alexandria. Mrs. Dove died in Shreveport, after a lengthy illness, September 23, at 12:45 a.m. She was born in Sabine Parish in 1887, moved to Rapides Parish at an early age, and lived there until she moved to Shreveport in 1937. Mrs. Dove was the widow of George M. Dove of Hineston. She is survived by two sons, Norman Dove, and Herbert Dove of Shreveport; two daughters, Edna Bowman of Noble, and Annie Blevins of Natchitoches; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Roy Bowman, Ben Moreland Jr., Wallace McGilvray, Virgil Orr, Tommy Lewis, Al Hummel, Oscar Gordey, Luke Dove, and Ronnie Bass.
