Mrs. Ellen T. Davis

  Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen T. Davis, 83, of Mitchell, were held in Fellowship
Baptist Church Sept. 21, with the Rev. Willis Greer officiating. Mrs. Davis died in Converse
Hospital, Sept. 20, after a lengthy illness. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Serving as pallbearers were Doyle Taylor, J. C. Taylor, T. J. Ott, Ray Taylor, Charles
Rippey, and Paul K. Taylor.

  Surviving relatives include her husband, John Davis of Belmont; two step-daughters, Mrs.
Willis Taylor, and Mrs. Lillie Fox, both of Mitchell; a sister, Mrs. Josey Rippey of
Joaquine, Tex.; two brothers, Paul Taylor of Mitchell, and Jim Taylor of Joaquine, Tex.
