James C. Davis

  Funeral services were conducted Aug. 16 at 1 p.m., at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel
for James C. Davis of 6312 Canal St., who died Aug. 14 at 7:25 a.m., after a brief illness.

  Military rites were held at the Pisgah Cemetery, located between Belmont and Marthaville.

  He is survived by his widow; one son, James Douglas Davis of Cheyenne, Wyo., a daughter,
Mrs. Nancy Richardson of Shreveport; three sisters, Mrs. Inez Litton, Shreveport, Mrs. Ann
Rogers, Sao City, Iowa, and Mrs. Lyna Buggin, Mansfield; four brothers, Albert Davis of
Zwolle, Ira Davis of Hawkins, Tex., Charles Davis, Belton, Tex., and Raph Davis of
Shreveport, and one grandchild.
