Needom Davis

  Needom Davis, 57, a resident of Pineville, and a nursing assistant at the Veterans
Administration Hospital in Pineville, died Sunday afternoon at the Veterans Hospital.

  Survivors include his widow, of Pineville, a daughter, Miss Joan Davis of Pineville;
four sons, Stanley Davis of Many, Roland and Jerry Davis, both of Pineville, and Richard
of Manghan; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Garcin, and Miss Fleta Davis, both of Winnsboro; three
brothers, Seamon Davis, and Harvy Davis, both of Winnsboro, and Fred Davis of New Orleans;
his mother, Mrs. Ford Davis of Winnsboro, and five grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, in the Paradise Baptist Church near
Pineville, with the Rev. James Carson officiating. Burial was in the Forest Lawn Memorial
Park in Pineville, under the direction of the Hixson Home of Pineville.
