Charlie Davis

  Charlie Davis, 81, died in Port Arthur, Tex. at 6:15 a.m., April 11,
after a short illness.

  Mr. Davis was of Anococo, and is survived by two sons, T. J. Davis
of Highland, Tex., and J. P. Davis of Anacoco; three daughters, Mrs.
Hollis Prewitt, and Mrs. Howard Goins, both of Anacoco, and Mrs. Frank
Robison of Port Arthur, Tex., 12 grandchildren, and ten great-
grandchildren.

  Burial was in Prewitt Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home of Many, on Sunday, April 12, at 3:30 p.m. Funeral
services were held in Prewitt Chapel Church near Hornbeck, with the
Rev. Robert Graham officiating.
