Mrs. Aldie Davis

  Mrs. Aldie Davis, 92, died Thursday, June 17, after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church, Friday,
June 18, at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Earl Marr, and the Rev. Larry Wilson
officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Freedom Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  She is survived by four sons, Robert and Thurman Davis of Many, Wilford
Davis of Leesville, and Preston Davis of Ruston; two daughters, Mrs. Ola
Dryden of Many, Mrs. Oma Smith of Haynesville; 11 grandchildren; 17
great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Derrell Davis, Clovis Knippers, Don Bruce, Elzie Mains,
Bob Lawrence, and Donnie Davis.
