The Sabine Index - Roy Davis 
  
  24 Sep 1948 - Last rites for T/Sgt. Roy Davis, who was killed in 
Luxembourg, Germany were conducted Thursday of last week at 
Prospect Methodist church by Rev. Cleburne W. Quaid, pastor, at 
10 a.m. with interment following in Prospect cemetery under 
direction Massingill funeral home. Rites at the grave were 
conducted by members of the American Legion. 
  
  Surviving relatives include: parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Davis, 
Florien; brothers, Cecil, Merryville, A. G. Leesville, Clifton, 
Florien, Harvey, Bay, St. Louis, Miss., J. T. Leesville; sisters, 
Mrs. Ella Groves, Converse, Mrs. Trudie Hicks, Florien and Mrs. 
Pauline Durr, Florien.
