Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, in the St. Anne Catholic Church, with the Rev. Patrick A. Scully, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the St. Anne Cemetery, under the direction of Wellman's Funeral Home of Shreveport. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Leola Davis; four sons, Julius Davis of Montgomery, Ala., Leon Davis and Isadore Davis, both of Shreveport, and Andrew Davis of Houston, Tex.; six daughters, Mrs. Eloise Wheeler of Alexandria, Mrs. Lois Flores, and Mrs. Jonnie Lee Bass, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Nell Barbo of Coushatta, Mrs. Pearl Ettie of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Charlotte French of Robeline; a brother, James Davis of Powhatan; four sisters, Mrs. Marcalie O'Con of Robeline, Mrs. Louise Moran of Shreveport, Mrs. Pollie Horneo of Denison, Tex., and Mrs. Erlene Place of Allen; 33 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
