Thurman Davis

  Thurman Davis, 53, of Many, died Sunday, Jan. 11, at 12:15 a.m.,
following a short illness.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bobby Laurence of Toro,
and Mrs. Mary Lynn of Alexandria; three brothers, Wilford D.
Davis of Leesville, Robert I. Davis of Many, and Preston J. Davis
of Ruston; two sisters, Mrs. Oma Smith of Haynesville, and Mrs.
Ola Dryden of Mansfield; and two grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church on
Monday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Earl Marr officiated. Burial
was in the Mt. Freedom Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
