  Lawrence Davis

  A funeral mass was said Aug. 7 at 1 p.m. for Lawrence Davis, 77,
who died Sunday evening, Aug. 5, at the Pierremont Heritage Manor
Nursing Home after a long illness.

  Services were in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the
pastor officiating. Burial was in St. Anne's Cemetery in
Natchitoches Parish.

  Mr. Davis, a resident of Shreveport since 1941, was a native of
Natchitoches Parish and a former resident of Red River Parish.

  Among survivors is a brother Mytle Davis of Robeline.
