The Sabine Index - Mrs. Josephine Davis

  21 Nov 1952 - Last rites for Mrs. Josephine Davis, 75, who
passed away Nov. 15 after a few hours illness at Prothro clinic,
Pleasant Hill, were conducted at 3 p.m. Nov. 16, at Beulah
Baptist church by Rev. Bill Glover of Pineland, Texas. Interment
was under the direction of Warren funeral home.

  Pallbearers were Zyed Dyess, L. J. Irby, Bud Constable,
DeVance Rains, Ruben Melton and Kelly Berry.

  Surviving relatives include: daughters, Mrs. Nell
Freeman of Ajax, Mrs. Jo Evelyn Constable and Miss Mary Le Davis,
all of Robeline; sons, Willie Davis, brother Jack Davis of Ajax;
sister, Mrs. Liza Beckham of Ajax; three grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
