Enoch Davis

  Enoch Davis, 85, died in a Many Hospital, Thursday, March 17, at
4:50 a.m., after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Jinne Davis of Belmont;
three sons, Rhett Davis of Vivian, Herman Davis of Charlton Va.,
and Fred Davis of Houma, La.; one daughter, Mary Alice Sheets of
Hummelstown, Pa.; two brothers, Lige Davis of Belmont, and John
Davis of Many; four sisters, Viola Folks, and Rena Bridges, both
of Converse; Beatrice Gray of Hammond, La., and Clara Carter of
Belmont; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Saturday, March 19, at 10 a.m., in
the Belmont Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. P. King, and the
Rev. Guy Burr officiating. Interment was in the Belmont Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
