Joe Davis

  Services for Joe Monroe Davis, 72, of Zwolle, were held at 10
a.m., Saturday, in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Marshall Street
chapel, with the Rev. Charles Kircus, pastor of First Baptist
Church of Rainbow City, Ala., officiating. Burial was in Forest
Park.

  A Shreveport resident before moving to Zwolle seven years age,
Mr. Davis was found dead in his Zwolle home, Wednesday. He was a
native of Winnfield, and was a retired employee of the Caddo
Parish High Department.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bettie Joe Athey of
Charlotte, N.C., and Mrs. Marian Goodwin of Casper, Wyo.; a
sister, Mrs. Daisey Shiver of Shreveport; two grandchildren; and
three great grandchildren.
