The Sabine Index - Mrs. J. L. Davis

  26 Feb 1943 - Last rites for Mrs. J. L. Davis, age 57 years,
were held last Wednesday at Prospect church at four p.m. Rev
Julius McComic officiated. Dennis-Green funeral home in charge.

  Surviving are husband, J. L. Davis of Gandy; five children,
Sorel Davis, Atlanta, Texas; Charle Davis, Redwater, Texas; Mrs.
Princuss Waler, Redwater, Texas; L. C. Davis, U. S. Army and
Myrtis Davis of Gandy.

  Mrs. Davis was visiting her son in Redwater, Texas;
when taken ill. Her death followed a short illness.
