The Sabine Index - Mrs. Francis J. Davis

  17 Sep 1943 - Last rites were held Wednesday at four o'clock
at St. John's Catholic church for Mrs. Francis J. Davis, age 77
years, who passed away at the family residence near Many Tuesday
at five o'clock. Rev. Father J. A. Benoit officiated. Interment
in the Catholic cemetery. The First National Life Insurance
company funeral home of Natchitoches was in charge of the
funeral.

  Surviving are eight children, Mrs. Geo. D. Cobbs, W. S. Davis,
Mrs. L. F. Locke, Mrs. Felix Buvens and Mrs. C. J. Hubley of
Many; Mrs. H. H. Delhomme, J. G. Davis and R. C. Davis of Port
Arthur, Texas, two half-sisters, Mrs. M. A. Peterson of Many and
Mrs. Jennie Parrott of Shreveport.
