Viola Rose Davis

  Services for Mrs. Viola Rose Davis, 89, of Texarkana, Ark., were
at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 18, in the East memorial Chapel. The
Rev. Vernon Payne officiated. Interment was in East Memorial
Gardens, under the direction of East Funeral Home of Texarkana,
Tex.

  She died Tuesday, Sept. 16, at her residence, No. 4 Webber
Place.

  Mrs. Davis was a native of Ft. Jessup, La., and is preceded in
death by her husband, Ollie Davis.

  Survivors include one son, Bob D. Davis of Texarkana, Ark.; one
daughter, Mrs. Knox Gill of Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Uyles
Horn, Shreveport; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
