Cecil T. Davis

  Cecil T. Davis, 73, died at Bienville General Hospital in
Arcadia, Wednesday evening, June 10, at 5:30 p.m., following a
short illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Prospect Methodist Church,
Friday, June 12, at 2:30 p.m., in Florien, with the Rev. Larry
Joyner officiating. Interment was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery,
under the direction of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Minden.

  He is survived by one son, Cecil Ponder Davis, Iowa City, Iowa;
two daughters, Mrs. Bobby G. Davis, Gibsland; and Mrs. William
Hearron, Shreveport; two brothers, Clifton Davis, and T. J.
Davis, both of Florien; one sister, Mrs. Trudie Corley of
Florien; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and a
host of nieces, and nephews, and friends.
