Lilly Mae Sentell Davis

  Funeral services for Mrs. Lilly Mae Sentell Davis, 85, of
Ruston, were held on Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Trinity United
Methodist Church in Ruston, with the Rev. Merlin Merrill
officiating.

  Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery, under the direction of the
Spears Funeral Home of Ruston.

  She died on Thursday, Jan. 22, in the Lincoln General Hospital
in Ruston, following a long illness.

  Survivors include one son, Dr. Paul M. Davis, Jr.; two
daughters, Martha Davis, Bossier City, and Lilley Elizabeth David
Webb, Zwolle; five sisters, Mrs. Henrie S. Gladden, Mrs. Eugenia
S. Kennon, and Mrs. Mattie S. Naylor, all of Baton Rouge, Mrs.
Annie Lous S. McBride, Alexandria, and Mrs. Elizabeth S.
Fernandez of Plain Dealing; one brother, Nathaniel Wesley
Sentell, Corinth, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and two great
grandchildren.
