Aliene S. Davis

  Mrs. Aliene S. Davis of Florien, died Sunday, Nov. 7, at 5:10
a.m., after an extended illness. She was 58.

  Funeral services for Mrs. Davis were held Monday, Nov. 8, at 2
p.m., at Antioch Baptist Church. Interment was at Prospect
Cemetery. Rev. Willard Sandiford officiated. Local arrangements
were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Serving as pallbearers were Stevie Lynn Carroll, James D.
Miller, Kenneth Maines, Ted Miller, Henry Lee Davis, and David
Cook.

  Surviving relatives include her husband, Mr. T. J. Davis of
Florien; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Peggy Davis of
Florien; one daughter, Mrs. Ann LeMaire of Baton Rouge; her
mother, Mrs. Bettie Salter of Florien; three sisters, Mrs. Mavis
Miller, Mrs. Leona Carroll, Mrs. Syble Bush, all of Florien; two
brothers, Sherman Salter, Florien, Benny Salter of Minden, and
one granddaughter, Erica Candace Davis of Florien.
