Stephen B. DuBose

  Funeral services for Stephen B. DuBose of Florien, were held
Saturday, Dec. 26, at 2 p.m., at Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the supervision
of Rev. William Moon. Mr. DuBose laid in state at the funeral
home, Saturday morning at 8 a.m.

  Mr. Dubose died at Mass Regional Hospital in Lake Charles, on
Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 7:30 a.m., following an extended illness. He
was 89.

  He is survived by four sons, Jack DuBose of Vidor, Tex., Neil
DuBose of Angwin, Ca., and Marvin DuBose, and Fred DuBose, both
of Biloxi, Miss.; two daughters, Lois Laurent of Merryville, and
Edith Painter of Spartanburg, S. C.; 21 grandchildren; and 25
great grandchildren.
