Mrs. Minnie Ruth Davis

  Funeral services were held Saturday, February 26, at 11 a.m.,
for Mrs. Minnie Ruth Davis, 87, of Florien, at the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at the Miller Cemetery.

  Mrs. Davis passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 1983, at 11:05 p.m.,
at Fraser Hospital North in Many, after an extended illness.

  She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Audrey Oxley, Many,
Oneda Miller, Bridge City, Tex., and Lunell Corley, Saudia
Arabia; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one
great-great grandchild.

  Officiating at the funeral were Rev. John Reynaud and Bro. Mack
Brister. Pallbearers were Kenneth Miller, Bennie Gardner, Steve
Oxley, Dan Oxley, Paul Corley, David Chisum, Bobby Gardner, and
Bennie Gardner, Jr.
