Mrs. Ernestine Brown Davis

  Funeral services for Mrs. Ernestine Brown Davis, 48, were held
Tuesday, March 27, at Gum Springs Baptist Church, with Bro. Doug
Hilton, Bro. Jeff Flannigan, and Bro. William Mercer officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services were under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Davis died Monday, March 26, at her residence.

  Survivors include one daughter, Lori Davis Arnold of Hornbeck;
one brother, Homer Lynn Brown of Converse; four sisters, Charleen
Westfall of Many, Lucy Slaughter of Florien, Judith Killian of
Florien, and Retha Rogers of Florien; her father, Homer Brown of
Florien, and stepmother, Jewel Brown of Florien; and a host of
nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Junior Kirk, Glen David Westfall, Keith
Slaughter, Dave Funderburk, Johnny Airhart, and Frank Maranto.
