Zack E. Davis

  Funeral services for Zack Ellis Davis, were held at 5 p.m.,
Monday, July 16, in Crossroads Baptist Church, with the Revs. Guy
T. Burr, and J. P. King officiating. Burial was in Marthaville
Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral
Home.

  Davis, 53, of Marthaville, died Saturday, July 14, in his home.

  He was a native of Marthaville, and a member of Anthony Baptist
Church. He was a truck driver for the Harmon Wood Co., and a
former employee of The Natchitoches Times, and Sabine Index.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Davis of Marthaville;
his mother, Mrs. Joella C. Davis of Robeline; two step daughters,
Mrs. Sharon Dalh of Pineville, and Mrs. Margaret Marlin of
Marthaville; one brother, Robert Davis of Clifton, Ariz.; and
five grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Emory O'Brien, Keith Berry, Wayne Berry, Jimmy
Weeks, Gary Clark, and James Blue.
