Mrs. Davis was born July 9, 1924, in Gibsland, to parents, M. Vern Leach, and Oma Leach. She was employed as an operator. Services were held Monday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m., in the Warren Meadows Chapel. The Rev. E. E. Walker officiated. Interment followed at the Florien Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Cathy D. Oxley of Many, and Patricia C. Brown of Baker; two sisters, June Martin of Coushatta, and Doris DaQuila of McComb, Miss.; three brothers, Jimmy Leach, and Lester Leach of Florien, and Mack Leach of West Monroe; four grandchildren, Craig, Monica, and Chris Brown, and Brian Gardina; one great grandchild, Heather Morris; and a host of friends.
