The Rev. Joe Haslerber, pastor of the church, officiated. Burial was at St. Anne Cemetery, under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home of Coushatta, La. Mrs. Davis, a lifelong resident of Natchitoches, La., died Tuesday, July 2, 1985, at Natchitoches Parish Hospital in Natchitoches, La., after a lengthy illness. She is survived by four sons, Julius Davis of Montgomery, Ala., Leon, Andrew, and Isadore Davis, all of Shreveport; six daughters, Eloise Wheeler of Alexandria, La., Lucy Flores, Johnnie Lee Bass, and Charlotte French of Robeline, Pearl Etie of Zwolle, La., and Neil Barbo of Coushatta, La.; one sister, Alice Davis of Natchitoches, La.; one brother, Otis Morvan of Shreveport; two half brothers, Lee Myrtle Toby of Bossier City, and Joseph Monroe Toby of Richmond, Va.; 35 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
