Davis, 78, of Bossier City, was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Boone Funeral Home's Airline Chapel. The Rev. Nolan Logan, and the Rev. E. J. Martin officiated. Burial was at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Mr. Davis died Monday, Feb. 17, 1986, at his residence. He was retired from Wilson and Co. Mr. Davis, and his late wife, Zarue Davis, organized Azarue Florist in Bossier City. Since his retirement, he had worked as a school patrolman at Kerr Elementary School. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Mr. Davis was born in Plain Dealing, La. He is survived by one son, Richard Davis of Bossier City; four sisters, Mrs. Jaunita Barnett, and Mrs. Audalie Nuckolls of Plain Dealing, La. Mrs. Marguerite Mike of Marthaville, La., Mrs. Ouida Bales of Albuquerque, N. M.; one brother, Terrell Davis of Plain Dealing, a special friend, Ms. Ottis Smith of Shreveport; four grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
