Services were held at St. John Catholic Church, on Oct. 5, 1987, at 11 a.m., with Father Kenneth Williams, and Msgr. Norman Buvens officiating. Burial was at St. John Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. She is survived by three sons, Willie Arthur Davis of Shreveport, James H. Davis of Atlanta, and Murray Davis of Lake Charles; three daughters, Alice Mae Foster of Many, Marguerite LeCroy of Houston, Tex., and Beatrice Tramel of Many; one sister, Mrs. Albert Phillips of Oak Harbor, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie S. Davis; one son, Louis R. Davis; and one daughter, Lucille Davis. Pallbearers included Willard Sibley, Dr. Stan Foster, Tony Davis, Clay B. Tramel, Tommie LeCroy, Andy Tramel, Jack Hubley, and David Davis.
