DuBose, 69 of D'Iberville, Miss. died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1993, in Biloxi, Miss. Mr. DuBose was a retired Civil Service electronics instructor at Keesler A.F.B. He retired as an Air Fore Chief Master Sergeant in 1969. While serving in World War II, he was a POW from June 29, 1944 to May 2, 1945, in Stalag Luft 4 Pomerania Germany. He served with the 44th Bomber Group H, Air 8th, Force. 8th Air Force. He was Methodist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Salter DuBose; and his parents, Stephen Bryan and Mary Corley DeBose. Survivors include a son, Steven E. DuBose of D'Iberville; a daughter, Ms. Ann Kathryn DuBose of Plano, Texas; two brothers, Marvin DuBose of Biloxi and Neil DuBose of Redcraft, Calif; and a grandson, David Crooker of Plano, Texas. Visitation was Dec. 16 at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. A service was held Dec. 20 at noon at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
