Sull Davis

  Funeral services for Mr. Sull Davis, 80, of Rusk, Texas, were
held at 2 p.m., in the Allen Funeral Home of Cushing, Texas, on
Tuesday, October 25. Interment followed in the Friendship
Cemetery of Cushing.

  Mr. Davis passed away on Sunday, Oct. 22, after a lengthy
illness from cancer.

  He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Davis of Rusk, Texas; two
brothers, L. C. Davis of Rusk, Texas, and Charlie Davis of New
Iberia; two sisters, Mary L. Clanan of Natchitoches, and Myrtis
Mooney of DeRidder.

  Mr. Davis was born on April 14, 1909, in Florien. His parents
were the late J. L., and Susie Davis. He was preceded in death by
two brothers, Willie, and Benny Davis; and two sisters, Mentie
Potter, and Princess Wynn.
